As a rookie in this world, young JCo learned at an early age growing up in Gary, Indiana life was more strikeouts than home runs. However in all of those at-bats throughout his young life, he realized the main thing you need to do is keep swinging. So swing he did. And eventually he began to connect in his sweet spot: entertainment.

JCo loved to entertain people, and eventually took it to the stage as a formally trained theatre actor at Emerson School for the Visual and Performing Arts. While his skills were limited at first, he practiced hard to be a 5-Tool player acquiring the virtuosity of a seasoned veteran. He became a Sports beat reporter in Indianapolis, using his writing and Associated Press training for a local newspaper. Additionally, he played in bit-time markets such as Chicago and New York, lending his expertise to teams as small as local Improv houses, and power houses such as Saturday Night Live.

Never one to sit back on his accomplishments of last season, JCo finally decided the next step in his evolution would to help build a championship team from the bottom up. Joining his lifetime partner in crime (and many legal ventures as well) The Rayvolution, JCo signed on to The Fifth Column Network. Featured on FCN 2, JCo is swinging for the fences ready to knock Sports reporting out of the park. With pithy and insightful analysis and commentary he will be dissecting anyone brave enough to throw pitches in his direction.

A bio would waste your time. Writing one is wasting our time. The name says it all, don’t it? The RayVolution. Classically trained? Yes. Credentials? He has them. Deep industry knowledge? Oh yeah. A brilliant mind even? We went there. (Editors’ note: after much argument and then reminding him that he does not actually control the website admin, we will list some of RayVo’s numerous credentials for those of you who like picking nits. They include, but aren’t limited to theater, television, radio and film productions in no particular order: The Emmett Till Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Detective Story, Oprah’s There Are No Children Here, The Fugitive, The Jenny Jones Show, D.L. Hughley’s HBO comedy special, Deal or No Deal, Kick Off Cook Off, Mancow in the Morning, and currently he can be heard hosting the Young Urban Lifestyle radio show weekly on 1420AM Atlanta, GA).

But above all, The RayVolution has mastered comedy as an art form and a science. Studying all the greats such as Eddie Murphy, Bugs Bunny, and his Uncle Kevin, he has dissected, unpacked, and reverse-engineered what really makes people laugh. But, it wasn’t the study. He wasn’t ever really one to study. Call it a gift. Call it instinctual. Call it his life blood, The RayVolution has been captivating audiences since performing standup in Chicago and LA. Since creating his own comedy television show, Big Business. Since attending the number three performing arts school in the country in his youth. He has RayVolutionized the comedic form. Like we said, the name says it all, don’t it?

Heather, or H-Dub, comes from a small, small cornfield town in east central Indiana. She moved to the big city (Indianapolis) as a young adult, full of hopes and dreams, ready to take on the world; typical hooker with a heart of gold stuff. H-Dub, a gifted storyteller, has perfected the art of flying under the radar and surprising people with her quick wit and risqué observations. H-Dub joins FCN Four as a correspondent and host of the upcoming Inbox Diaries, exploring all the hysterical and unbelievable horrors of modern dating and the inboxes to prove it. In her spare time, H-Dub enjoys people watching, reinforcing her expensive coffee habit, plotting world domination, and trap music.

Throughout history, great people have generally been God-fearing and God loving…HulkATone isn’t one of those great people. Hailing from Chicago, Tone grew up believing in only two people: Marcus Garvey and Bruce Lee. As a teenager, Tone pursued the martial arts which put him on a crash course with wrestling and MMA. After collegiate career-ending injury, Tone continued his passion for fighting sports while gaining a passion for video games. Adapting the moniker of the “Raging Ogre”, Tone decided to bring more people into his fandom by sharing his views through the medium of FCN.

Anywhoo, her name is Tiffany Shackelford but everyone calls her TShack. She’s from the westside of Indianapolis and is a proud Ben Davis Alumni (but, please don’t ask her what year, you’re not going to get it, lol)! After finishing high school, TShack went to Ball State University…and, is currently wrapping up a degree in graphic design and journalism. She’s also a member Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, INC and Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. TShack loves designing and working with new technology.

She started her career in 2015 by interning at the Indianapolis Recorder as a designer. Eventually, she got into photography and was able to publish several works over the two years she worked there. Over time, she started her own shirt line, BMMD on Threadless.com and started freelancing as a designer and photographer in 2018.

She’s a lover of all things beauty and spend lots of time (and money, *sigh*) on makeup. She loves watching YouTube and is a huge WWE fan! She can’t wait to share her views and show how powerful the Black opinion is!

Thiq Designer was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, and the youngest child and only girl her mom had. She is a nerd of a few trades such as sketching, writing, sewing, graphic design, as well as 3D design. But, when it comes to interior design, she intuitively knows how to bring a vision together. Having spent the last four years in the Mid-South, she has gained a wealth of knowledge while networking with various writers, musicians, poets, comedians and producers. Thiq got her start by offering her services pro bono as well as volunteering at various events. In that time, she has made a name for herself as “Thiq Designer” on social media platforms and is building her personal brand.
