Roy Moore Cannot Be In the US Senate. He Wants to Delete Amendments 11-27.
Watch the December 11th broadcast of Prime News
This weekend, JCo and I chat on Prime News The Sunday Edition about Senate Candidate Roy Moore (R-Alabama) and his statement that he thinks things in America were better when slavery was legal. Well, another sound byte from the disgraced state supreme court chief justice has surfaced highlighting the racist bigotry of this man.
In 2011, Moore said in an interview that he is in favor of scrapping all constitutional amendments after the 10th because it would eliminate many problems in our nation.
For those who can’t remember which amendment is what: Amendments 1 through 10 are the original bill of rights. 11 through 27 are all of the attempts to fix them to include everyone who isn’t white and Christian and male.
Allow me to highlight a few of them:
The 13th Amendment abolishes slavery
The 14th Amendment defines citizenship and contains three very important clauses – privileges and immunities clause, the due process clause, and the equal protection clause –
WHICH ARE THE FOUNDATION OF SO MANY LANDMARK CASES GRANTING RIGHTS TO DISENFRANCHISED GROUPS, such as Brown vs. Board of Education, Roe v. Wade, and Obergefell v. Hodges (which made same sex marriage legal).
The 15th and 19th and 24th Amendments prohibit restricting voting based on race, color, sex, previous condition of servitude or inability to pay a poll tax or any other tax.
Roy Moore – a former judge – knows exactly what he is saying when he said that. This guy does not need to be in our Senate. – @Trezanay
