Vigilante Justice :: (Inmate on Inmate Crime)
Watch the October 23rd broadcast of Prime News
Since we’re on the topic of justice – what do ya’ll think about vigilante justice? You know, when folks don’t get the punishment that really holds a perpetrator accountable for the crime they have committed, so folks take the law into their own hands?
So, in Australia-Asia, an inmate named Davidson admitted to torturing a fellow inmate by pouring boiling water over his head. Turns out that fellow inmate, the guy burnt up, was a pedophile serving a life sentence for murdering a 13 year old boy.
Court records show that Davidson attacked his fellow inmate from behind while he was playing a game of cards, poured the boiling water over his head, and then bust him upside the head three times with the with the bucket when he tried to get up.
When officers questioned Davidson, he said “Yeah, I did it, he had it coming. He’s an “effing” grub. The Court didn’t think this was cool. They sentenced Davidson to more time saying the pedophile was already beign punished by being in prison and he shouldn’t have been abused.
What do ya’ll think about that? Sometimes I wonder how we balance an inconsistent criminal justice system that imposes harsh penalties in some cases where the offenses and consequences aren’t exactly matched….and soft penalties in some cases where much harsher penalties should be imposed….
